Otofix BT1 Lite Description:
The Otofix BT1 Lite does not have a screen! To perform testing and display test results the Otofix BT1 Lite must be used with an Autel, Otofix tablet or other smart devices (free iOS or Android apps available).
Otofix BT1 Lite is a battery and electrical system analysis tool that enables technicians to view the health status of vehicle’s battery and electrical system. It is not an average battery tester because it measures not only the state of charge but also the battery state of health including its capacity, its ability to maintain and store the energy. Using adaptive conductance (an advanced battery analysis method), Otofix BT1 Lite can produce a more accurate examination of the battery’s cold cranking ability and reserve capacity, which is vital to determine a battery’s true health.

Download Free App from Google Play and the App Store
The Otofix BT1 Lite is a new app-based battery analysis tool developed by Autel.
Download the free and easy-to-use mobile app, available for iOS and Android devices, and use it with the BT506 to perform testing and display test results.
BT506 has positive and negative alligator clamps which are polarity protected, so even if you reverse the clamps and put the negative on the positive terminal, it is OK. In fact, the LED on the tester is color coded to alert the users of connection and testing status, so the testers will flash red to alert you that you have made the error.

Test 12- and 24-volt Cranking/Charging Systems
Cranking And Charging System Test
Otofix BT1 Lite Battery Tester can test battery and also 12- and 24-volt Cranking/Charging Systems( starter and alternator), Same as Autel BT608.
1. In-Vehicle Test:
* Battery Test:
With the clear guidance on the screen, you can do the battery test. And the battery test results include a color-coded result summary, a list of test data such as SOC, Voltage, Measure Capacity, and repair tips.
Starter Test: Follow the on-screen instructions, start the engine and let it idle. Then the test results of the cranking system will display on the screen which include starting voltage, starting current and starting time.
* Generator Test:
Through the alternator test, technicians are able to check the load voltage/current, no load voltage/current, and ripple. The direct test result on the screen will tell you whether the charging is normal, and whether there is an issue with the output or ripple, which helps avoid damaging the battery and shortening its life due to overcharging or incomplete charging.
2. Out-Vehicle Test:
Out-vehicle test is used to test the condition of batteries that are not connected to a vehicle. This function aims to check the health status of the battery only.
3. Automativally Identify Battery Type:
Clamp the Autel MaxiBAS BT506 to a in-vehicle battery, the vehicle information will be automatically populated and its battery information tab will pop up from the bottom of the screen, select the correct battery parameters on the screen to process the diagnosis.
* BatteryTypes: FLOODED, AGM, AGM SPIRAL, EFB, and GEL;
* Standards: CCA, SAE, CA, EN, IEC, DIN, JIS and MCA.
